Just a couple of weeks ago I re-decorated our guest bedroom for the second time (re-decorating is like an addiction) I didn't like the original paint color I used at all. Here is what the room looked like in July, before I first re-painted it and how it looks today!

Yikes! Not sure who the decorator was but maroon and mint green don't play well together...

Believe it or not, this is the same bedroom! It looks 10x bigger with a lighter color, well-placed furniture and accessories!
