High Five For Friday

Happy Friday! :)  I hope you all have had a good week. This week has been slam packed around here but that's ok - it helps the weekend come more quickly.  I think Adam's brother and his girlfriend are coming on Saturday to go out for supper with us (yes we call is supper in rural Iowa!)  My best friend also celebrated her 30th birthday - I truly hope she has a wonderful year ahead - she 100% deserves it!

In other news... here are my high 5 for the week!

one. Monday was a 74-degree day.  That called for my first outside walk of the spring. It. was. AWESOME.  The only sad part was that I didn't have 'Bam' (our old dog) to go for a walk with. I didn't realize how much fun it was to have him with me.  Even if he did drag me for the first half of the walk. 

two. I bought Eric Church's live album "Caught In the Act" on Tuesday!  It has officially become my "de-brief after work" music. I love it!  Have I ever mentioned that he is my celebrity crush?!

three. Meet 'Chirpy'! He is the new kitten Adam brought home.  He got his name because all he did was cried when he came now, within a few days, he is the biggest roly-poly pet in the barn!

four. Rain came this week. It's been raining since Tuesday and that's good news. Do you also see the green grass in the background? We haven't seen green grass since last June!

five. It's always a good week when Birchbox comes in the mail!
