eweI love jewelry - especially Lia Sophia jewelry! Two years ago my good friend and Lia Sophia Unit Manager, Melissa, introduced me to this beautiful jewelry and the Lia Sophia business opportunity. Since then, my jewelry collection has gotten a little out of control but the problem is that I love it all and wish it could be on display all of the time.
I came up with this quick idea to corral my bracelets. Find a square vase (any shape will work) and fill it up with bracelets. Michael's and Hobby Lobby are great stores to find inexpensive vases. This display of bracelets looks great on my dresser and serves a dual purpose as a jewelry holder and a decoration.
If you see any of these bracelets that you like or if you would like to see more Lia Sophia jewelry, check out my website: www.liasophia.com/bethlauwagie I am always looking for stylish women to host shows and share the Lia Sophia opportunity with! If you are interested in hosting your own jewelry show, please contact me via this blog or my Lia Sophia website - the hostess benefits are fabulous!
Become a follower of my blog between now and Friday to get your name in a drawing for a chance to receive a FREE piece of Lia Sophia Jewelry! I will announce the winner in a post on Friday!

Blank Canvas
I just moved into a beautiful farm house in Iowa with my boyfriend, Adam. Over the past couple of years Adam has perfected this farm site that he invited me to share with him. I feel so fortunate - especially since he said "Sweetheart, the house is yours!" That was music to my ears because I love to decorate and re-decorate.
More pictures to come as the decorating continues....
The night before the movers were coming with all of my stuff, we donated Adam's furniture to a good friend of his who livesdown the road, a bachelor in need of an upgrade. Here is a picture of what we were left with on a Friday night.
I love this picture for two reasons. First, the main subject of this picture is my extremely handsome boyfriend who had no idea I took this picture. Second, it is a picture-perfect blank canvas, a fresh start, and a decorator's dream space! If you ever get the urge (or the ambition), move everything out of a room in your house to create a blank canvas. It's fun, refreshing and rewarding to give your space a new look!

Thoughts
"Be faithful to your own taste because nothing you really like is ever out of style." -Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin Decorates
I love this quote! It can apply to your home, your life and your personal style as it relates to fashion. As long as you own it no one will question you. In fact, they may think it's the latest trend!

Simple Bedroom Update
While most women love to shop for shoes and purses, I love to shop for bedding! Don't get me wrong, I like purses and shoes too, but I am always searching the home and bedding departments looking for a way to spruce up my bedroom or give it a quick update. I even had bedsheets on my Christmas list one year!
Below are a couple more tips to make this bedroom update inexpensive while keeping the impact!
My quick trip to Macy's to check out their home and bedding sale gave me inspiration for this simple bedroom update to post on my blog today. It doesn't require paint or even a monetary investment. If you need a quick bedroom update, just change out your bedding! Check out the pictures below of my guest bedroom. The bedding change is a subtle difference but it freshens up the room!

- Reverse your comforter. Instead of getting something new, just use the reverse side.
- Make your bed differently.
- Add decorative pillows.
- Buy new pillow cases. If you can't afford a whole set of sheets, just buy the pillow cases.
- Shop in the clearance aisles. There are always good bargains to be found.
